Finally… I’m starting a weekly themed photo project. I’ve been wanting to do this for awhile – and searched the web for one that resonated. I connected with the M4H p52 over at myfourhensphotography.com. There is a weekly theme given each week that photographers aim toward. The goal is to shoot a photo each week for the entire year (hence P52). Each week, a select group of photos are chosen to be featured as “Eye Candy” and one winner is also named. Well, I debated the idea of the project for awhile and knew I really wanted to do this in 2014. I realize it’s almost April at this point, so.. I’ve missed a few weeks, but better late then never – right? I may go back and shoot for previous themes if I have time.. but my main goal is just to find the time to fit this into my weekly routine starting now. It’s a great way to keep my creative skills sharp, meet other great photographers also submitting their work, bring a concept to life through my photos, and shoot things that may be out of my norm as a family and child photographer. I’m really looking forward to growing my photography by participating in this project.
This Week’s Photography Theme is “Vast”
The first thing that came to mind was how the road of life presents such a vast array of possibilities. So many directions we can go – different roads we can take. Along the way, a vast number of opportunities present themselves to us. Then, it is up to us to make a vast amount of decisions as we navigate this road – always looking toward the end goal.
